THE STORY BEHIND: PART 1
Nick Rivera was born in Montreal, Quebec, on October 9th, 1994. At 12 years old, before his first high school years at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, Nick began playing the electric guitar after listening to pop-punk bands. His music taste changes when discovering The Beatles and Pink Floyd. After playing in various bands and writing many songs, Nick attends University in music, guitar jazz. He quits three months later in 2015…
The reason he leaves school is simple: the need to rebuild himself up. The suicide of a parent forces him to isolate and focus on music. From that moment, Nick dedicates his time in composing. In just one year, he creates nine meaningful songs, most of them with a strong message about depression, anxiety and bullying. Nick embraces nature as his main theme to mirror the importance of being genuine and natural. His music is a wonderful therapy and his empathy touches many souls.

THE STORY BEHIND: PART 2
Dreams. Battles. Depression.
These are the themes you will find in my songs.
I wrote this music as a therapy for me; to help me heal from many struggles.
I want to show that we are not alone. Every single one of us fight through difficulties and challenges so big we couldn’t even begin to imagine.
You are not alone. We are not alone.
Weaknesses. Efforts. Strength.
You will know me through my songs.
